Today’s iOS 6.1.3 Release fixes the Lock Screen Security Flaw that many users have been reporting since iOS 6.1.

Video Demonstration of Lock Screen Security Flaw:

The lock screen security flaw allowed unauthorized users to access the phone app by bypassing the lock screen. Basically, the flaw meant that users could call people from lost or stolen iPhones. Not cool.

I hope iOS 6.1.3 also fixes a flaw that I have with callers hearing me speak when my iPhone battery has less than a 60% charge, and most importantly, my overall cell reception. Since iOS 6.1.0 release, the reception on my iPhone has been horrible. Not only have I missed basic sms messages, but I’ve also missed a few group sms messages sent by someone sitting less than 5 feet from me. It’s pretty sad. I’ve resorted to turning my phone completely off at night, letting it fully charge, and just praying that it finds a good cell tower in the morning.

Hopefully, this iOS 6.1.3 software release will be more friendly than other iOS 6.1 releases.

Evernote 5 for iOS is coming soon!
The Evernote team provided us with an early look of what’s to be expected in Evernote 5 on iOS.

We have some exciting news. Evernote’s team of developers and designers have spent months rethinking our app to make it as fast, uncluttered, and easy to use as possible. The result is the all new Evernote 5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It’s a beautiful, re-imagined experience that puts everything you need no more than two taps away.

Evernote 5 for iOS - New User Interface

Evernote 5 for iOS Features

  • New Home Screen with updated Notebook UI & Access to Notestacks on iPad
  • Easy Access to create Quick Notes, take Quick Snapshots, and utilize the Page Camera
  • Easy access to premium features

I really love the way greater focus is given to the new note and photo capture buttons. The ‘notebook’, ‘tag’, and ‘places’ sections are now tabbed below the new note buttons with a cool new folder style user interface. And the fact that notes, notebooks, and notestacks are now distinguishable is a great boost in usability.

I guess the iPad is supposed to change our lives or something.
Blendtec wondered if it could change the way we blend…

I just like the way it’s blended to little pieces and dust.
I know. I’m a hater.
I’ll take it. Whatever.

Will iPhone take over #TeamBlackberry? | Courtney Social Media Consultant in Los Angeles

We knew it was coming…

It seems Forbes believes that Apple will surpass the Research in Motion in the Mobile Phone Market.

Now that iPhone to AT&T exclusivity is no longer valid, it opens the doors to more carriers.

Many, like me, hope that Verizon Wireless will pick up the iPhone.

Now now…

Don’t look at me like that.

I’m STILL and ALWAYS WILL BE #TeamBlackberry

I actually plan on using one for business and one for play.

Don’t judge me.
