Cowboys vs Giants Touchdown Reversal (10/31/2012) | Courtney Social Media Consultant in Los Angeles

My thoughts on the Touchdown Reversal during the Cowboys vs Giants Game (10/28/2012):

It was a conspiracy. We lost by an inch.

YAY for Witten and his 18 reception record.

But, BOO on him waiting until I benched him in Fantasy Football to do so.

The Cowboys are now 3 Р4 Р0. Fail.

How ya gonna get us out of this one, Romo?

Yep. I lost in both my Yahoo FFB & ESPN FFB League this week.

I benched Hakeem Nicks in my ESPN League too. However, I also benched Ben Tate and Jason Witten.

What the heck was I thinking?!
I was thinking Jason Witten still needed more time to get his life together, and he does.
And I was thinking Ben Tate would deliver, but that he wouldn’t deliver as well as Larry Fitzgerald would.

I was wrong.

Hell, maybe all of this IS my fault. o_O
No, wait.
It’s not.
It’s Larry Fitzgerald’s fault for delivering a big fat goose egg when times got rough.

And…on to next week.

Guess who I’m NOT benching this week?
Right – Hakeem Nicks and Ben Tate.

H. Nicks plays on Thursday.
We’ll see what happens.

I lost this week – by less than 4 points.
And while I’d love (not) to take responsibility for benching Hakeem Nicks and Eli Manning, if Brandon Marshall had gotten open in the backfield, I’d be celebrating right now instead of licking my wounds.

What was that about?

I won’t even mention the fact that Stephen Hill was overrated on the waiver wire. Nope. I won’t mention that at all.

Fantasy Football: 10-2 after Week 12 | Courtney Social Media Consultant in Los Angeles

I obviously didn’t post my Fantasy Football Start / Sit picks last week for Week 12.

Truth be told, I was a little concerned on Thursday when Laurent Robinson (Dal) scored another 19 points before I realized that I had him benched. *insert expletive here*

Be that as it may, I headed into Monday Night Football behind by 6 points in my matchup, and Jimmy Graham and Hakeem Nicks pulled out a W for me.

I enter Week 13: 10-2 in my #1 Fantasy Football League.
And I’m breathing a little easier this morning.

My Week 13 matchup is currently 3-9 in the league.
I’ll set my lineup on Thursday morning…maybe. *wink*

Team: B_tches Get Stitches

QB – Phillip Rivers or Ryan Fitzpatrick: Phillip Rivers
WR – Hakeem Nicks or D. Bowe: Hakeem Nicks
WR – Steve Smith or Laurent Robinson: Steve Smith
RB – Michael Bush
RB – Matt Forte
TE – Brandon Pettigrew (pickup to replace Jimmy Graham)
Flex – D. Murray
K – David Bailey
DEF – SF 49ers or NY Jets: SF 49ers

BYE – M. Colston, J. Graham

My “dilemma” this week was whether or not to start Ryan Fitzpatrick over Phillip Rivers. They’re both failing with interceptions right now, and Rivers is only slightly better by the numbers. But…Fitzpatrick goes against Miami this week. And we all know how Miami has been this season.

I had Fitzpatrick starting this week, but this morning I came to my senses and swapped in Rivers. After all, it’d be just my luck that Miami would have another surge of energy and Fitzpatrick would spend most of his time in the fetal position (sacked or not). And the last time I benched Rivers for Fitzpatrick was Week 4 when I was asleep at the wheel, and Rivers had Miami while Fitzpatrick was getting Molly whooped by the Bengals. We won’t be doing that again, on purpose.

Lucky for me, my matchup this week is 1 in 9 (9ers Finest Fan), and they haven’t changed their lineup since Week 6. Further, they’re starting Maclin (OUT), Sproles (BYE), and Kasay (BYE).
